Dr. Diane Bandow is an Associate Professor and the coordinator of the business programs at the Troy Atlanta site. She has years of work experience in organizations before joining academia including approximately 22 years at AT&T and AT&T Bell Laboratories. In quality management, Diane designed published and maintained metrics to track multiple network provisioning systems.
At Troy University she is the student chapter advisor for SHRM and the local chapter president for Sigma Beta Delta and currently serves as the associate director of academics (undergraduate business) for the Southeast Region. Diane teaches in the areas of organizational behavior, human resources, leadership, and organizational development. She serves on Troy committees and serves as a reviewer for Human Resource Management, Information and Software Technology, the Institute for Behavioral and Applied Management (IBAM) and the journal (JBAM) Southern Management Association (SMA) and Academy of Management (AOM). She has served as the track chair for Troy’s Business Research Symposium. Diane has a chapter in IT Workers: Human Capital Issues in a Knowledge-Based Environment from Information Age Publishing released in 2006. More recently, Dr. Bandow has a co-authored article about developing policies on workplace incivilities in Business Communications (March, 2008). She also serves as an examiner for Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) both in the United States and overseas.
Dr. Bandow received her Ph.D. from The Fielding Institute and has two Master’s degrees, one in Organizational Development and one in Management. Diane is a member of SMA, Academy of Management (AOM), International Academy of Business Disciplines (IABD), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Sigma Beta Delta. |

Mr. Braddock (M.S., M.A., B.S.) has over 35 years in law enforcement/counterintelligence with over 28 years involved in the field of forensic psychophysiology (polygraph science). He is retired from the U.S. Army (Special Forces/CID) and early deferred retirement from civil service. Mr. Braddock has worked for the U. S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID); Office of Special Investigation (OSI), U. S. Air Force; National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (DoDPI); and the National Reconnaissance Organization (NRO). In the private sector, he has been a polygraph school curriculum coordinator and school director. Mr. Braddock retired as a Professor of Criminal Justice from Sauk Valley Community College and now is the Program Coordinator/Lecturer at Troy University - Atlanta. |

Dr. Caldarola (D.B.A., CMA, CFM) is a broadly experienced public speaker and is nationally recognized for his expertise in entrepreneurial start-up and growth strategies, strategic marketing, multivariate data analysis, managerial accounting and finance, and customer satisfaction and customer value strategies.
Dr. Caldarola has an extensive senior management background in business-to-business services, in manufacturing, and in retail and distribution organizations, with service in accounting, operations, and sales and marketing. In the 1980s he served as Chief Financial Officer of a mid-sized computer manufacturer, and led the management team’s leveraged buyout from a Fortune 100 company. Since 1990, he has served as a college professor, teaching courses in marketing, e-Business, strategy, entrepreneurship, finance and accounting, quantitative methods, and management. He has worked with Troy University since 2003.
Dr. Caldarola holds a doctorate in Marketing from Nova Southeastern University with postgraduate specialty studies in finance and accounting, and he is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Financial Manager (CFM). His undergraduate studies were completed at LaSalle University in Philadelphia and he earned an MBA at Friends University, at which he was awarded the Entrepreneurial Leadership Award.
Dr. Caldarola also serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Academy of Accounting and Financial Studies Journal, Academy of Marketing Studies Journal, Academy of Strategic Management, and the Journal of the Academy of Business Administration. |

Edwards, Dr. Daneell

Dr. Daneell Edwards is an Assistant Professor and the program coordinator of the Elementary Education graduate program. She is a certified elementary education teacher with teaching experience in Philadelphia Public Schools and private and government schools in London, England. She also has served as a practicum supervisor, teaching assistant and instructor at Vanderbilt University, Peabody College. She is currently teaching graduate courses at Troy University. Dr. Edwards holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Lincoln University, M.Ed. in Elementary Education at West Chester University, and Ph.D. in Language, Literacy, and Culture at Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Edwards views herself as a teacher, creative scholar, and life-long learner. She states, “I have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, which fosters my growth as a creative scholar. I search for new methodologies and pedagogical strategies to meet the needs and interests of my graduate students… As a life-long learner, I learn new skills quickly and adapt to change with ease.” |

Dr. Goode is an Adjunct Professor at Troy University where he teaches graduate courses in Public Administration. His most recent article, "Predictors of African American Representation in Municipal Government" appeared in the Review of Public Personnel Administration.
Dr. Shelton Goode is also the Diversity Manager for Georgia Power and is responsible for implementing Georgia Power’s long-term diversity, inclusion and culture change strategies.
Dr. Goode has over 20 years experience in human resource management and organizational development. As a leader in change management, Dr. Goode has successfully helped Georgia Power integrate diversity and inclusion into its business strategy.
Dr. Shelton Goode is a member of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources and serves on the board of directors of Affinity International Management Consultants.
Dr. Goode received his Bachelors degree from Southwest Texas State University and his Masters degree in Human Resource Management from Troy University. He obtained his Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of Alabama. |

Dr. Debra Hunter is an Assistant Professor at Troy University’s Atlanta site and is the Advisor for the Bachelor of Business Administration program at the site. Dr. Hunter holds the D.B.A. in Management and a Masters in Business Administration.
Her academic research focuses on job satisfaction, motivation, gender and diversity, and interpersonal workplace relations to name a few. Prior to choosing academia as a profession, Dr. Hunter spend several years in the in corporate world as a consultant with 2 consulting firms across the metro-Atlanta area.
Dr. Hunter teaches undergraduate business classes with five main goals in mind: (a) to emphasize the theoretic nature of business, (b) to demonstrate the prevalent uses of theory and actual business practices (c) to encourage critical thinking and communication of thought (d) to demonstrate the fundamental and abstract concepts of the particular course and (e) to make the learning process fun. She believes that a university education should not only prepare students for their specific future professions at a level of detail above that which they may have received in their high schools, but it should provide them a broad basis of knowledge so that they can understand their profession in the context of the outside world.
As a professor, Dr. Hunter encourages students to take an active approach to learning. She believes that her primary role is to teach key concepts in business, to clarify these concepts by providing examples, to highlight important issues, and to ensure that students are informed. Students, in return, are expected to put effort into mastering the material and take an active approach in their learning by working on becoming independent, critical thinkers. Successful teaching methods have included role plays, simulations, case studies, class discussions, student presentations, and team projects that compliment class lectures. |

Mitchell, Dr. Charles E.

Dr. Mitchell joined the staff of Troy University in 2006 as an assistant professor of public administration. He has over thirty years of federal sector experience with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Dr. Mitchell served as coordinator and supervisory official of various individual and systemic investigative projects which resulted in multi-million dollar settlements for plaintiffs and substantive litigation vehicles for the EEOC’s legal staff. As a staff consultant, he worked with the EEOC’s Staff Development and Training Division in the design, development and implementation of training packages used nationwide.
Dr. Mitchell received his PH.D. in public administration from the University of Georgia. A teacher by training, his academic credentials also includes a B.S. degree in secondary education from the University of South Alabama as well as Masters and Specialist degrees in educational administration from Georgia State University.
Dr. Mitchell has published articles on new age training programs and religious discrimination, employee waivers and the implications of the Older Worker’s Benefit Protection Act of 1990, illegal aliens and the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, affirmative action remedies and government ethics. His published works appear in the Labor Law and Public Personnel Management journals. His research interests are in the areas of evolving EEO laws and government ethics.
Dr. Mitchell is a member of and has held leadership positions in organizations such as Phi Delta Kappa (Metro-Atlanta/Georgia State University Chapter), Pi Alpha Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi (University of Georgia Chapters) as well as the American Society for Public Administration. As a member of the American Society for Public Administration, he has presented papers on EEO law and ethics throughout the southeast. He currently services as faculty sponsor of Pi Alpha Alpha at the TROY site in Atlanta. |

James P. Murphy (B.A. M.B.A., M.P.A., D.B.A.) holds advanced degrees in Management concentrations. Dr. Murphy combines the above referenced academics with diversified middle management experiences with two major corporations: AT&T and General Electric Capital.
Dr. Murphy is a fulltime Assistant professor of management certified to teach in the M.S.M., M.B.A., E.M.B.A., & M.P.A. graduate programs. He serves as a Director on three community service board of directors and is the 2006-2007 President of Kennesaw Town Center Kiwanis. Dr. Murphy’s research interests are both in the public and private sector of ethics and labor management relations. |

Akins Tunji Ogungbure (B.B.A., M.B.A., A.B.D.) is an Assistant Professor of Business & Marketing and Academic Advisor for the undergraduate business program at TROY University Atlanta site.
Akins is completing his doctorate degree in Marketing at Nova Southeastern University. His undergraduate degree was earned from Texas Southern University in Houston and his MBA from University of Houston Clear Lake City, Texas.
Akins’ academic research interests are: Consumer Behavior, Service Marketing, Internet Marketing, International Marketing, Marketing & Technology, and Service Failure and Recovery Management.
Prior to joining the faculty at TROY University, he served as Marketing/Sales Director, and President of a medium-sized international beverage company. Akins also was an adjunct professor for a number of years teaching courses in marketing, general business, and management. |

Dr. Sanders holds the highest academic rank of Professor Emeritus of Health Services Administration and Public Administration at Troy University. He actively consults from the national to local levels in health services policy development and implementation. His latest work published in 2005 is Excellence from Birth: The Professional Evolution of the USAF Medical Service Corps. Dr. Sanders was awarded the United States Air Force Medical Service Corps Commitment to Excellence Award for 2005. Dr. Sanders is a former Candidate for the Alabama Senate.
As Chief Executive Officer for Healthcare Development Services (HDS), LLC, Dr. Sanders currently plays a key health system development role by initiating and implementing HIPAA and OIG Compliance implementation programs and facilitating health system strategic planning for health care organizations. Dr. Sanders has enjoyed over forty years of proven success in line and staff positions in Department of Defense's worldwide health care system as well as university systems. His background includes hospital and health system administration, health system strategic planning, design, and implementa¬tion, health care policy development, financial management, health services administration education and executive development.
Dr. Sanders' educational accomplishments include a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1968, a Master of Public Administra¬tion Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1972, a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Southern California in 1988, and a Doctor of Public Administration Degree from the University of Southern California in 1989. He is a Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (LFACHE). Dr. Leora Waldner is an Assistant Professor at Troy University’s site in Atlanta. She also serves as the Masters of Public Administration program coordinator at the site. Dr. Waldner received her Ph.D. in city and regional planning from the University of California at Berkeley. She holds a dual masters degree in environmental planning from the University of California at Berkeley. Her academic research focuses on municipal incorporation, land use policies, and environmental planning. Professional research projects have included analyses of protection methods for environmental resources such as endangered species habitat, water quality, riparian habitat and wetlands. Dr. Waldner’s teaching philosophy is that bored students do not learn. By engaging students, by encouraging joint learning, by adding value to assignments, and encouraging students to have a voice in the class, she strives to create an effective and enjoyable learning experience. |
